Terrasos has developed habitat banks to provide a supply of high quality credits for compliance and voluntary biodiversity credit markets in Colombia. These banks consist of a designated site legally controlled or owned by Terrasos where the company carries out restoration and preservation oriented management activities to improve the condition of the native habitat and species found there. Terrasos has developed 12 habitat banks across seven departments of Colombia, representing a majority of habitat banks developed nationally
