Reseña

From the body was written under very
especial circumstances in 2002. With it, I closed
a cycle in Literature Studies at the Universidad
Central de Venezuela (UCV-Caracas), a
fundamental space for my development as
a dancer, choreographer and teacher. I also
intended to give order to my reflections on
dance and the performing arts and their
developments while I was growing, training
and working in my own expressive path in
relation to the body, the movement and the
art of dancing. Many things happened from
then until 2022, when I decided to publish it
and offer this information that I believe can be
of interest because it is an unavoidable topic
of reference and reflection in the present and
towards the future of dance.
