Have you heard of psychoanalysis, but no one has been able to explain to you what it is and what it is for in simple language and without scientific jargon? Perhaps you confuse it with psychiatry or psychology and want to know what the difference is? Or has someone recommended it to you as a treatment for your emotional, relationship, or family difficulties, but you've been left in the dark because you don't know what it is or how it works? If any of these is your case, Psychoanalysis on Foot is just the book you were seeking. As the title suggests, it is a journey through psychoanalysis conceived for the non-specialist reader. Besides, it includes many examples taken from the psychoanalytic clinic and stories chosen to accompany, entertain, and instruct the reader. It is, therefore, a book that mixes sweetness with usefulness, pleasure with gain. The author, who has more than twenty years of experience as a psychoanalyst, was educated in Medicine, Philosophy, and Psychoanalysis. He is a member of the Colombian Psychoanalytic Society, the Psychoanalytic Federation of Latin America, and the International Psychoanalytical Association. He has published several academic articles in specialized journals and also writes essays, short stories, and poetry.
