South Korea in the global context
To analyze South Korea in the global context of the 21st century, collective projective
research is developed, of great value for researchers and the general public with
interest in Korean studies in the disciplines of economics, international relations
and anthropology. In this order, the book includes ten chapters that address from
six thematic axes: 1) foreign policy, from the analysis of innovation projects
and digital technology transfer; 2) academic cooperation, through the study of
development cooperation with freedom; 3) investment strategies, prioritizing the
study of the Korean position in allocating funds for the development of physical
infrastructure; 4) business networks, from the analysis of the role of collaborative
consumption companies as well as corporate gender dynamics; 5) cooperation in
art, culture and interculturality; and 6) inter-Korean relations, to understand its role
as a means of tension or detente in the global community. In this way, the book
leads the reader towards a projective investigation supported by the particularity
of analysis, description, exploration and action-research of South Korean foreign
policy, supported by criteria of a dignified, free, reliable and prosperous life within a
convulsed global context.
